You are currently browsing the monthly archive for December 2007.

You can now find the first two shows in the LFTN Archives. As space allows, we will continue to make audio streams of past shows available. Simply click the embedded media player to begin loading the file (please be patient these are 40-50mb mp3s). If you are interested in CDs or transcripts of past shows contact us or pick up a copy at the First Friday Literary Series at the Juneau Public Library on February 1st, 2008.

We are currently accepting submissions for the third show.

The chosen theme is WORK.
Please take this theme and run with it, stretch it, challenge it, push the limits, what is work? why do we do it? How does it shape our identities?
If you are interested please read the submission guidelines. Otherwise, feel free to pass this on to others who might be interested.

Letters from the North features work from established and up and coming Alaskan writers (yes that means you). If you are a local writer, storyteller, or poet and are interested in submitting your work for possible inclusion on the program, go here.
